North Attleboro Composting Facility
Effective immediately, the Town of North Attleborough Composting Facility, located on Plain Street, is open for ALL Plainville residents. You do not need to be on the Plainville Municipal Trash Program or have a Recycling Center Pass to utilize the North Attleboro Compost Facility. You will have to show proof of residency.
North Attleboro Composting Facility Hours are (excluding Holidays):
- Friday - 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
- Saturday - 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- Sunday - 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Non-residents, commercial vehicles and landscaping or tree companies are not allowed. Plainville commercial vehicles that have a valid Plainville Recycling Center Pass are allowed.
The Composting Facility is for the disposal of leaves, grass and brush only. Residents may take compost and wood chips (in 5-gallon buckets only) and may take any wood that is left by other residents or Town operations. No Machinery or chain saws are allowed in the facility.
Plainville Recycling & Compost Center
The Plainville Recycling & Compost Center hours of operation and requirements have not changed. Residents are reminded a current Recycling Center Pass is required. North Attleboro residents are not allowed to use Plainville Compost center.
Plainville hours of operation are (excluding Holidays):
April to November
- Monday - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Saturday - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
December, January & March
- Monday - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Saturday - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
