Plainville Community Electricity Aggregation has been Renewed through November 2025
We are pleased to announce the renewal of our Town’s Plainville Community Electricity Aggregation. The program has been renewed with new pricing with Constellation through November 2025. Updated program pricing is available on the website: MassCEA.com/Plainville . Most participants do not need to take any action to remain in the program and receive the new pricing for the product in which they are currently enrolled. All participants will receive a mailed letter in late-October with details on how to remain in the program. Read on for more information.
The voluntary renewable energy content in the Program’s optional product comes from projects that qualify as MA Class I renewables and makes a sizable impact on the Town’s carbon footprint. Since Plainville Community Electricity Aggregation’s launch in 2016, participants have cumulatively purchased 80 MWh of renewable energy. This equates to avoiding over 60,640 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions cumulatively.
Over 3,600 accounts participate in the program, a vast majority of the Town’s residential, commercial, and industrial electricity users. Participants have collectively saved more than $6,000,000 since the program’s launch in 2016.
Good Energy, the consultant to the program, will hold virtual public information sessions to answer any questions and provide more information on the renewal of Plainville Community Electricity Aggregation. These sessions will be held on:
