Attention Plainville Residents
- The Recycling Center will begin extended hours on Saturdays for the months April through November.
- Residents are reminded a current Recycling Center Pass is required for access.
The Recycling and Composting drop-off area is located at the Highway Garage at 29 West Bacon Street. The hours for drop off are:
- Mondays from 8 am to 3 pm - year-round
- Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm - April through November
- Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm - December, January and March
- Closed February
The center is closed on Holidays and during severe winter weather.

From the light at the intersection of South Street and West Bacon Street: West on West Bacon Street, 1/4 mile from intersection on right. Shares driveway with Hilco Vision. It is the last and only building on the right.
