Overview

The Zoning Board of Appeals issues special permits and variances where required by zoning.  The Board also issues comprehensive permits for 40B projects.

Please contact the Department prior to filing.  The Director of Planning & Economic Development is available for pre-submittal reviews, which can often save applicants considerable time and expense during the permit process.
